The Wilverley Association joined the rest of the UK on Friday 26th September 2014 and ran a relay Macmillan Coffee Morning to help raise money for cancer support. With their first starting at their Forest Oaks care home in Brockenhurst and their second in the afternoon at their Little Haven home in Dibden Purlieu.
They were thrilled to have raised over £100 during which time residents, relatives and staff enjoyed coffee and a large selection of cakes and welcomed friends to visit and help raise much needed funds to support this very worthy cause.
The Wilverley Association ran games and activities which residents threw themselves into wholeheartedly. There was even some high jinx with some residents sabotaging balloons………..yes we saw you Mrs B!!
Fun was had by all and we’re really pleased to have raised a great amount from our coffee morning.
