Meal time is a huge part of our day at Forest Oaks and we have highly experienced teams running the kitchen. We use the finest suppliers who have the same passion for providing us with the best produce as we do preparing it. Everything, from casseroles to cakes, are made from scratch – which these days is rarer than you think! On Fridays we even cut our own chips and batter our own fresh Haddock. Over 95% of our vegetables are fresh, our eggs local and free range and our chocolate is from Belgium.
Food is very emotive and we make sure all our residents thoroughly enjoy every single meal to its fullest. We are constantly improving the offering too, be it based on feedback directly from our residents or changing the menus with the seasons. We are excited this year to start the kitchen garden, offering the ultimate field to table experience which will largely be looked after by our residents.
