Forest Oaks is a home for 45 residents and situated in the busy village of Brockenhurst in the heart of the New Forest. The home is a tranquil setting but is only a stone's throw from the bustling village and the open forest. It has easy and direct access to Brockenhurst High Street through a secure back gate. The village is thriving with diverse shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and a mainline railway station (with direct access from London) and is situated just off the M27.

Rooms at Forest Oaks are all en-suite and benefit from views overlooking the beautifully kept grounds. Facilities include a well-stocked library and reminiscence area, a hairdressing and beauty salon with visiting hairdressers, communal lounges, dining room and a well-equipped hobbies room. Each private room can access a telephone line and internet access with Wi-Fi if required.

Forest Oaks has an excellent activities programme, available 7 days a week, which includes a wide range of entertainers, craft sessions, speakers, exercise groups and quizzes. Outings are arranged several times a year with a trip on the Alison McGregor boat one of our most popular outings.

Convenience, access and services

Housekeeping and catering teams provide a full service in the home, whilst kitchenettes and laundry facilities are maintained for our more independent residents. Our residents can choose to enjoy meals in the relaxed atmosphere of the dining room or in the privacy of their own room.

Our seasonal menus and popular themed events provide an opportunity for our residents to socialise. Beverages and snacks are also available 24 hours a day. Local GP’s visit and our residents are helped to access a wide range of trusted community services.

Our residents have access to a number of services including a dentist, a chiropodist, a reflexologist, a dietician and an optician. Some of these services visit the home for ease of access/greater convenience.
