Little Haven launch their ‘Shapemaster’

The Wilverley Association is very proud to celebrate its launch party for the much awaited ‘Shapemaster’ to their Little Haven residential care home in Dibden Purlieu. As Chief Executive Gail Pussard explained; “This will change the lives of many residents who until now perhaps haven’t been able to maintain their mobility as they would like. The Shapemaster enables them to change that, as a power assisted exercise machine it improves circulation, joint mobility and balance and will give relief and improved well-being to many residents, it is vital equipment we have been fundraising for over the past year, so we’re thrilled it’s here at last and residents can start using it.” As the first to trial the ‘Shapemaster’ Allan said “ it’s fantastic” and Joan said “it’s truly wonderful!”

Over the last year The Wilverley Association have managed to raise an incredible £4,563 through various local events, for example a BBQ held at Little Haven last summer plus a sponsored walk which, with the help of Hythe & Waterside Estate & Letting agents, raised an incredible £3,000. A big thank you to everyone involved.
