A home from home

Little Haven is a home for 41 residents and is situated just a short stroll from the village of Dibden Purlieu, within easy reach of Hythe and its ferry crossing to Southampton. The home is split over three floors with lift access to each floor. The en-suite rooms are all light, airy and benefit from stunning views of the gardens, an acre of wood and terraced gardens.

The home has excellent facilities and communal areas. There are two lounges, a hobbies room, a dining room, a hairdressing salon, a library area and outside seating in pretty and well maintained gardens.

Little Haven has an excellent activities programme, available 7 days a week, which includes a wide range of classes, entertainment and outings. Little Haven has very good connections with its local community and residents are regularly able to attend local events and lunches.

Convenience, access and services

Housekeeping and catering teams provide a full service for the home, whilst kitchenettes and laundry facilities are maintained for our more independent residents. Residents can choose to enjoy meals in the relaxed atmosphere of the dining room or in the privacy of their own room.

Our seasonal menus and popular themed events provide an opportunity for residents to socialise. Beverages and snacks are also available 24 hours a day. Local GP’s visit and our residents are helped to access a wide range of trusted community services.

Residents have access to a number of services including a dentist, a chiropodist, a reflexologist, a dietician and an optician. Some of these services visit the home for ease of access/greater convenience.

The Wilverley Association also provides services from a Chartered and State-Registered Physiotherapist and these services are included within our weekly fee.
