Farewell to Tricia at AGM

The Wilverley Association AGM took place on Tuesday 26th July. Tricia Hilborn, Chair, thanked all residents and family members for attending and for providing feedback and support to the charity this year. Staff were also thanked for their hard work, enthusiasm and happy approach to their work. Everyone paid special thanks to Tricia Hilborn who after serving her maximum six years on the Board of Wilverley Association stepped down from her role as Chair and Trustee. “I have very much enjoyed my time with The Wilverley Association. I’ve been delighted to see so many happy staff and they do a great job for the residents. I am happy to leave The Wilverley Association in such safe hands under the directorship of Lisa Dillane as Chief Executive and Geoff Jennings as the new Chair of the Board.” – Patricia Hilborn (departing Chairperson of The Wilverley Association). Trustee, Geoff Jennings, was voted as new Chairman and gave a presentation speech where he thanked Tricia for her valuable contribution to The Wilverley Association and explained to all present that he was looking forward to leading the Wilverley Association forward and working with the senior management team to continue making improvements and tackling the challenges that lie ahead particularly with the Living Wage increase. Geoff thanked the staff at both homes for their unwavering patience and hard work in meeting the needs of our residents.
